Duwei Pomelo 

Duwei pomelo, abounding in Wendu Town, Xianyou County, Fujian Province, is a kind of delicious fruit boasting special medicinal effects and high nutritive value. Capable of reducing inflammation, relieving cough, acting as an anticoagulant and reducing blood sugar, it also has obvious curative effects on gastralgia, abdominal distention, indigestion, tympanitis, mastitis, and blood coagulation.   

Putian Longan 

Putian is one of major national production base of longan, while its dried longans enjoy a good reputation at home and abroad. The longans of Putian are big in size, orange yellow in husk, sleek and transparent in sarcocarp and fragrant & sweet in taste. The Putou Village of Youting Town in Xianyou County is also one of major national distribution centers of dried longan. Big in size, high in sugar content and sweet in taste, the longan of Putian can also be processed into longan cream, longan wine, canned longan, longan drink and etc. Furthermore, the longan is also found to have important medicinal values.  

Putian Woodcarving 

Among major crafts varieties in China, the carving of Putian enjoys the equal fame with the cloisonne enamel of Beijing, embroidery of Hangzhou and the pottery & porcelain of Jingde Town, and has always been enjoying stable marketing channels and extensive domestic and overseas markets. The woodcarvings of Putian are mainly made with the longan trees which abound in Putain and are engraved into warriors, beautiful women or gods. The woodcarvings are also well decorated with lacquer so that they look more appealing. Putian has now become the largest production place of decorative woodcarvings and statue of gods for antique buildings in China. In 2003, Putian was granted the honorary title of "the City of Woodcarvings" by China National Council of Light Industry.   

Putian Loquat 

The loquat output of Putian constitutes 40% of that of China. Boasting advanced cultivation techniques, Putian has more than 100 varieties of loquats, which are famed for their excellent "color, fragrance and taste". The major growing district of Changtai Town is also called "The First Hometown of Chinese Loquat". Besides table use, the loquat can also be processed into canned loquat, fruit juice, loquat cream and loquat wine, and is found to have important medicinal values. Loquats are sour-sweet in taste, and can be used for moistening the lung, relieving the cough, quenching thirst and normalizing the function of the stomach. They are mainly adopted for curing such diseases as polydipsia, cough and hiccup etc.   

Xinghua Rice Noodle 

As one of famous speciality products of Putian, Xinghua rice noodles are as white as snow and as thin as silk. Such an inexpensive and toothsome food is one of the earliest snacks of China, and enjoys a good market in Southeast Asia and Europe. Currently, Xinghua rice noodles consist of such series products as silver rice noodle, instant rice noodle, thin rice noodle and thick rice noodle. The silver Xinghua rice noodle and the thin rice noodle have been successively granted seven honorary titles or prizes, including ministerial-level and provincial-level product of excellence, silver prize of China Food Expo, Wuyi Cup Prize and the trustworthy product recommended by Fujian Consumers Council.
